One Death Report Confirmed Due to Hantavirus in China
Hantavirus has become one of the top trending topics on social media after the Chinese state media tweeted about one person in the country who died due to the virus.
According to the media report, a man from China’s Yunnan province died while traveling on a bus and was tested positive for the new virus.
A report in Global Times states- the man was on his way back to Shandong Province for work on a chartered bus when he passed away The person from Yunnan province died while on his way back to the eastern Shandong province for work on a chartered bus on Monday.
Fearing new virus, people are talking about prevention efforts before it becomes an epidemic. Many people said if people do not stop eating animals in China, then viruses as such will always be a threat to human life.
What is Hantavirus?
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Hantaviruses are a family of viruses that are spread mainly by rodents and can cause various diseases in people.
It can cause Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS) and Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS)
If we talk about the symptoms of hantavirus, A person gets a fever, headache, body ache, stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. when infected with this virus.
If the treatment is delayed, the lungs of the infected person’s lungs get filled with water and trouble in breathing.
