PAK to not compromise on ‘Samjhota Express’, train stopped at Wagah border

Amid the Scrapping Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir, on thursday, Pakistan has expressed its aggression and said that they will suspend railway services between India and Pakistan.

On Wednesday, Pakistan expelled Indian envoy. In further development Pakistan’s Railway Minister Sheikh Raseed told a news conference that ‘Samjhota Express’ will be shut down. As we know ‘Samjhota Express’ runs from New Delhi to Lahore and vice versa.

Sheikh Raseed added, “As long as I am railways minister, ‘Samjhota Express’ can’t operate”

Indian Railway confirmed Pakistan’s move of stopping ‘Samjhota Express’ at Wagah Border. It is confirmed by Northern Railway official that the train has about 110 passengers coming to India from Pakistan.
